4-H is an amazing place for youth to learn about technology. Here in Washington County youth can take short classes on GPS (Global Positioning Systems), Robotics, and a variety of other activities.
The Dixie Tech Team is a club for youth 12-18 who are interested in developing a wide range of technological skills. The club meets twice a month (1st and 3rd Wednesdays) and designs, builds, and discovers all kinds of fun things! They learn about:

Jan-Feb: GPS/GIS - Global Positioning systems and mapping. Discover the world of "geocaching" and develop skills in digital mapping.
March-April: Robotics - Enter the world of Lego Mindstorm Robotics. Learn how to design, Engineer, build, and program these robots.
Sept-Oct: Digital images and website creation
Nov-Dec: Video Production - Design, produce and edit videos of all types.
